“Fjord Transit” came out rather unexpectedly at E-Live ’99. It contains the music the English trio played at the second Eurosonic Festival on the Swedish island Valo. In all, there are three extended pieces, of which the title track (clocking over 30 minutes) contains lots of nicely sculptured soundscape textures before reminiscent TD-sequencing and additional sounds show up. Adrian, Pete en John Christian continue playing dynamic music on the other two tracks which nicely realms alongside TD’s “Encore”, including the sound of Froese’s guitar. Ok, one may not find this an original sounding cd, but the bottom line is it contains well executed and recognizable music that is loved and cherished by many of the old school of electronic music up to this very day. |
