Although I personally prefer cosmic ambient music with profound depth, multiple layers along haunting, expansive farscapes, Andrew Kinsella’s “Cosmic Dawn” -a journey back through time to the birth of creation- still is worth listening and enjoying. Despite its distinct lighter touch, simple sonic architecture and undeniable New Age air, the overall relaxed sounding 52-minute result offers a range of pleasant, warm and harmonic spherescapes with hints of melody as well as a few parts accompanied by smooth cascading sequences. As such, “Cosmic Dawn” offers a peaceful dream journey to distract and unwind the mind in an easy-going fashion.
