There’s actually not much to tell about this fine release containing Paul Lawler’s 67-minute live set played at E-Day 2017 festival. At the occasion Lawler performed solid while presenting a cross-section of his music from his back catalogue which bears resemblances of TD’s melodic (begin of the) 80s music at times. E.g. “Alterstill 6” and “The Seven Numbers” fit in that league. All in all, this album ticks many positive boxes and is of a different category compared to the still puzzling “Automaton” and psychedelic-ish “Moon”. |
