What I have here is another work of lush, in-depth ambient music at its finest, featuring a vast, highly emotive sound design that can ease and/or elevate the busy or troubled mind. An ethereal thread along a sense of bliss and the infinite is clearly present throughout the recording’s impressive sonic arc, a fascinating alchemy of tactile elements merged fluidly with attentively molded electro-acoustic and vocal textures. Especially the 11-minute “Find Yourself” is a stunner with its thick, expertly layered soundscapes washing all over the place, making up a pure and warm blanket of ambiences. “Reticence” and “Continuity”, following in its footsteps, draw the listener further inward into a dreamful expanse of subtle splendor and discovery. The timeless and contemplative also wander subtly through the final two pieces, where quiet reflections rise gently to full-blown emotive textures. They make the icing on the cake of the beautifully crafted mind-massage “Tales of Introspection”. Headphone listening is a must. |
