“Cobalt 44” is Ashera’s second album, on which Antonia Asher Wright nicely continues the same kind of music he presented on his debut “Ambient Selections”, as the strong influence of Brian Eno is still to be heard. The almost 70 minutes of music consists of introspective ambient soundscapes in which intimate emotions are embedded. To me, the overall impact of the music on “Cobalt 44” is much stronger. This is nicely flowing textural music to appreciate at a low volume. |
