British synthesist Brendan Pollard did quite some efforts looking through music that had been shelved for the last decade by whatever reason. This is the first result in a series of three discs, filled with 12 tracks (demos and tracks for radio programmes) along unreleased or alternate versions of pieces and two tracks contributed to the Edition magazine cd. The latter is great, as one of them is the 25-minute “Thoughts For Dead Leaf Motion”, on which Mr Pollard excels with Jerome Ramsey and Adrian Dolente. This disc is worth buying for this track alone if you missed out on the E-dition magazine release. |
