Here’s another fine work of space-ambient bliss by Sergey Severin, aka Eguana, taking its listener into an infinite destiny. “Abyss’” tranquil sonic narrative -that never becomes superficial- unfolds as a weightless drift with sets of gentle oozing textures along a sustained, smooth pulsating sequence. As the journey morphs onward effortlessly it almost seems time dissolves a couple of times. Overall, the 42-minute outcome makes appropriate music to bring a busy, restless mind at ease while it will certainly please all who have a soft spot for imaginary ambient music like myself.
