Emanuele Errante is a Napoli-based Italian ambient composer, of which “Humus” is his second album. The cd contains 11 tracks, forming a slowly unfolding symphony of quiet soundscapes and carefully crafted sonic intermissions.

The outcome is assembled from elegantly meandering and slowly cascading organically flavoured string tapestries, textures and subtle micro rhythms.
They all breathe an ongoing dreamy, mesmerizing atmosphere through its veins, pervading a warm, humid ambient environment (expertly coming to the surface in the 10-minute “Humi”) with minimal elements. They work both relaxing and hypnotizing when experienced through a good pair of headphones.

Like all Somnia albums, “Humus” is a limited, signed and numbered edition of 777 copies, nicely packaged in a sew recycled paper enveloppe with soy ink, and sealed in wax.
