Belgian musician Emmanuel Tuts-Schiemsky was part of the range of ambient musicians who were offered the possibility to release their music on the Italian Amplexus-sublabel Arya.

“Rust voor de Stilte”, inspired by fading memories and unattainable desires and released as a limited edition of 100 copies, was Emmanuels first album on that label.

The six tracks brings us a collection of blissful and melancholic atmospheric ambient musings, combining flowing, gentle synth washes and rhythms with elegant rhythmic structures in which a distinct sense of yearning can be discerned.
Nowadays, these smooth harmonics probably would be described as chill-out new age. A compilation of the music can be found on YouTube.
