EternalKeys is a one-man project by Mimmo D’Ippolito, residing in Brindisi, Italy. The 40-minute “EternalKeys 2” contains a mixed and unbalanced bag of instrumental music, ranging from simple but effective piano work (heard at the start of the album), but soon hitting the Goth-Rock oriented and soundtrack-oriented avenue. The lack of good synths, modules and sound patches though is what makes the outcome rather poor though. Here’s still quite some work to be done, also when it comes to playing, producing and mastering: now the overall sound remains flat, messy and thin despite some occasion better executed symphonic outings. |
