There’s not much to say about the fine batch of contemporary electronic music making up this release. The rhythmic-driven, not-too-busy-sounding “Distance” continues in the footsteps of its predecessors, blending well-tempered as well as sparkling sequences with warm synth pads and Frank’s e-guitar soloing. At the same time I can’t deny there are various spots on the 66-minute “Distance” where I´d wish the e-guitar would take a backseat (or wasn’t showing up at all), this in favor of the fine electronics and/or the great sequencers doing a great job already… |
