This is actually some kind of re-vamped edition of the same titled cd which was released in 2000 on Groove Unlimited. It now comes as a limited edition digi-pack of only 300 copies from Ricochet Dream, a label started by Vic Rek not long after the above concert. The initial Groove release had four tracks, this one holds seven. The great first track “Cottage #3” has remained the same, so have tracks three and two (although they switched places on the new release). In addition, the original 32 minute closing track “A Night at the Museum” has been shortened to a 16 minute “evening edit”. Nevertheless, this album contains improvised, very nice sequenced music and vintage soundings tied to and inspired by the Berlin School electronic music pioneers Tangerine Dream. So all who love the sequencer oriented vintage sound, make sure to get this one! |
