“Deep Space” is an ambient-dub album by New-Zealand based composer John (Nigel) Stanford, released on Jon Mark’s small White Cloud-label (part of the Naxos classic brand). It contains six tracks of spacious, melodic trance music merging highly sequenced trancy rhythms with expansive, almost symphonic themes. It all ends up in well-produced contemporary down tempo music and energetic ambient groove that will appeal to fans of music on the French Ultimae label or System 7. |
