With “Opaque Glitter”, derived from approximately 1h30 of source music, experimental artist Leonardo Rosado has created a textural drone album with an assortment of lost and found sounds. Beside the organic and slightly harsh edge, this imaginary music with a touch of melody reminds of Pascal Savy in abstract mode or the album “Afield” by John Broaddus as is meanders forth in a minimal framework while implementing environmental and field recordings. There’s a hypnotic, immersive, warm and reflective side found within the core of this flowing and deep, but overall inexplicable sonic vapour. Shadow and light continue to shapeshift into alternate states of reality, what in the end appears to be an ongoing rich and at times even melancholic dreamscape. “Opaque Glitter” is available as limited edition cd-r (100 copies) and as digital download. |
