Mike Griffin, owner of Hypnos recordings, hits the spot with his first solo effort “Sudden Dark”. The beautiful cd cover (which later on would become a trademark of the label) and title give a promise of what the listener can expect: ten tracks in all which head for darkening but also some lighter regions. Vast atmospheric realms, a world where dream and reality seem to shift, and where the listener witnesses a variety of perspectives.
