The three tracks featured on “Zymal” are long-form psychedelic guitar drone exercises inspired by Pluto’s moon system meant for low level playback on headphones. The atmospheres addressed here are dark, foreboding and dense, sketching an abstract-minimal aural landscape throughout. Desolation and cold radiate from the slow morphing textures, making this outcome only suitable for experienced ambient aficionados. |
