MoonSatellite – Sequenzer I

“Sequencer I” is an earlier work of Nancy-based composer Marc Perbal (aka MoonSatellite) where he shows he’s very fond and/or profoundly influenced by the classic electronic music as produced in the 1970’s and 1980.

The music featured on the five parts taps into the heritage of Jarre (“Oxygene”/”Equinoxe”) but also keenly incorporates elements of the cosmic music of both Klaus Schulze and Tangerine Dream.
Next to many nostalgic sound effects, a pleasant vintage thread runs through the tasty compositions, creating a moody and relaxed atmosphere that reflects on the aformentioned period of electronic music.
Nicely done, Mr Perbal.
