Danish label manager, dj and producer Michael Klit is the sole founder of the PsyChill project Particle Image Velocimetry. The projects music is inspired by “The sound of the Future” as created in the vintage ’70’s, featuring small self-contained sequenced parts along dark electronic chill-out. The outcome on “Molecule Assembler” is not your average cup of ambient music, as quite some psychedelic and alienating spherics surface during this minimalist/abstract-oriented sonic ride into the unknown wherein some suspense is also creeping in occasionally. It’s the slow and static evolution of each piece though which makes “Molecule Assembler” a most demanding, difficult and peculiar one to get into. |
