“Human Statis Habitat”, arriving some three years after “Gates of Atlantis”, is a 47-minute work of deep galactic soundscapes and droning dark ambience, all molded and shaped meticulously by the capable Martin Stürtzer. Atmospheric, slow morphing and dark textural pads paint a vast emptiness before the mind’s eye, taking the listener into some deep and remote spaces out there as we drift onward on intricating waves and sets of majestic, ominous-infused drone scapes. The presence of gigantic black masses passing by is imminent as the seven-track recording unfolds. Definitely recommended for deep space ambient explorers.
