This is not a recording by USA’s Tony Gerber & co but a solo music project by the same name of Bombay-based musician Rishi Bhatia. “Excursion” -the follow-up of 2019’s “Mars”- is a 22-minute/4-track EP is a treat for fans of lush soundscape music as it takes the listener into the expansive cosmic outdoors with warm, gently swirling textures. It’s a smooth drifting and evocative spaceflight I’m sure will please fans of Jonn Serrie, Philip Wilkerson, Telomere and alike. Nice going Rishi.
