Steen Chorchendorff Jørgensen, hailing from Denmark, hereby presents 13 tracks of melodic chill-out mood music evaporating a slight resemblance with Tangerine Dream’s “Exit” in the two-part opening track “Mind Journey”, venturing into relaxed ambient-electronic dance after that. Despite the well-meant intentions and efforts, the 58-minute outcome isn’t something I can get the least excited about as the warm but clean sounding tunes prove one-dimensional with rhythms/bass-beat remaining static and too loud. Halfway I had to put it on hold as its simplicity and cheesiness started to annoy me… |
