The online-exclusive “Bloodmoon Rising” consists of a series of new pieces specially created in the last few days leading up to the second lunar eclipse in 2014 on October 8th. The 70-minute longform meditation makes a beautiful aural headphone journey where spiraling, smooth shifting currents of tranquility, mystery, tension and the majestic come together and dissolve not long after. Its mellow, delicately molded space of lush, deep and mesmerizing textures gives a voice to awe and wonder as is evolves and unfolds, staying true, inspired and captivating all the way while the moon’s transformation takes place. Mr Roach has done another very fine job with this inspired ambient-space excursion that rises and falls gently as it morphs on. P.S.
