Some may have heard of this American musician, who released his debut album “Digital Planet” back in 1994.

The cd begins with the 18 minute title track, a soft flowing miniature of airy textures and the sound of clocks ticking. The following four tracks are well-balanced pieces of space music, full of detail and atmosphere.
Now and then some soft twinkling sounds fly by, some sequences (which are kept in the background) pop up only occasionally.

In a way, there’s a slightly mesmerizing flavour to be found in his compositions, as they contain little melody.
However, in the closing track Verity decided to use prominent and harsh solo’s, which seem out of place.
