Thom Brennan – Vibrant Water
CD-R, Private Release, 2001

“Vibrant Water” is Thom’s next album after “Mist”, and again is a beautiful sound and listening experience.

The disc contains three extended soundscapes, all filled with transparent, slow drifting textures. The slightly melodic sonic tapestries feature very nice vibrant effects and would be a proper soundtrack to a film on the rainforest in America’s North-West, an environment which inspired Thom a lot.
The strong title track of 24 minutes concludes the album. It was composed back in 1999, a period in which Thom had detached himself from the em-scene.

All in all, this long form music is a very nice musical statement and sure bet for all fans of drifting ambient/space music.
