UK Heights (also on the cd written as U. Kay Hytz) is a UK-based band of three musicians whom have been making music since 1991.
“Ambients” as such is the final outcome of the persistent demand of a radiostation for quiet, more introspective versions of their music.

Well, “Ambients” contains some very nice candy for the ears which won’t easily disappoint any listener. The overall sound of the album is warm and inviting, it finds a good equilibrium in natural and electronic sounds, but next to that it also integrates gentle female vocals in the soundspectrum.

This music isn’t that quiet as the title might suggest. The beautiful low bass-lines and light rhythms create an intimate, very relaxed atmosphere. It’s like the music moves through several phases of a dream, but make no mistake: listening to “Ambients” keeps you awake.
This ain’t exactly chill-out, but may suit very well to get a clear mind or to just relax with.

All in all, listening to “Ambients” is quite and unusual experience, of which both sound quality and production are outstanding. So hopefully there’s more to come…
