I can be brief about the set of cosmic music featured on “Anything can happen”, as the nine tracks are another example of Vanderson’s style where melodic contemporary electronics blend nicely with spiced and sequenced Berlin School ingredients. These are accompanied by up-tempo beats, some soloing and additional textural spheres, making the outcome catchy and uncomplicated start to finish. In this respect “The Last Journey”, the second half of the 12-minute “Solar Eclipse” and the title track offer elegant and fine combos of sequences and drums. I’m sure many mainstream EM aficionados will be grabbed by the pleasant drive and feel-good mood found in Maciej Wierzchowski’s energizing, song-structured music. |
