After a very long delay of over three years this long-awaited sampler finally saw the light of day in the middle of 2006.

The album is a fund-raiser for the Australia’s FM radio station which broadcasts the radio program Ultima Thule, dedicated to airing electronic ambient music. For this release, 13 musicians supplied a previously unreleased track of fine ambient music.

On this cd there’s music of Tom Story, Matt Borghi, Robert Rich, Kelly David, Jeff Greinke, Thom Brennan, Steve Roach, and Numina next to some lesser known musicians such as Delicate Systems, Dan Barrio and Matt Borghi.
Especially the music of Roach, Greinke, Numina and Brennan stand out on the 78 minutes of well compiled music.

Surely recommended for all those who like to broaden their “ambient horizon”
