The heart and soul of Yagya’s “Stormur” is centered round a subtle flow of delicately molded tonal progressions in minimal techno-ambient featuring some occasional dubby sidesteps. It’s a groovy affair overall having an undeniable hypnotizing, trancy effect on the listener as the 10-part/60-minute journey with great deep bass lines unfolds. Compared to previous releases, “Stormur” sounds busy, harder and buzzing (and at times also danceable) while Yagya’s typical introspective aural fluffiness and warm realm is still floating around… The download also contains “Stormur (Album Continuous Mix)”. |
