Yarek – Organix

Jaroslaw Degórski , aka Yarek, did leave a good impression on me with his previous recording “Noc Na Zamku”, and it’s great to see him continue the same path on “Organix”.
The album isn’t exactly new though as the cd-booklet learns the music was already created in 2005. Nevertheless, the melodic and distinct Jarre-flavours are still present, as are the catchy and sparkling sequencer patterns and the groovy undercurrents which lend the music an extra vibe.

It all really works out nicely, especially on the strong “Delfina”, as does the fine sequencing on “Koral”, which is very close to what Schulze was doing on “Farscape”. There’s also a mellow, unhurried side to Yarek’s accessible music, which e.g. comes to the surface on the title track.
All in all, nice going, Mr Degórski.
